What is Photography to Me?

I know a lot of people who are total camera geeks — completely obsessed with the machines that capture moments. They dive deep into all the numbers, settings, and gear, testing everything in every environment.

For me it’s a little bit different.
To me, the camera is very important, but just a tool.

A tool to connect.
To be present.
To notice the moment that’s unfolding right here, right now.
To reach a little deeper into what’s really there.

What I love most is when someone sees their photo and pauses —
“Wow, that’s me? That’s how I look now… interesting.”

It’s in that moment — the shift in how they see themselves — that I know the photo did something more than just freeze time.

Hi, I’m Aga

used to be Agnieszka, but hey, when you emigrate, you adapt😉
I was born in US, raised and lived nearly my whole life in Poland, but for the past few years, I’ve been living in France. I recently moved to the beautiful region of Brittany, where I get to explore life through my lens while eating kouign amann.

I love photographing people — connecting with them through the image, and helping them hold on to the moments that matter.

And by “important moments,” I don’t just mean birthdays or anniversaries.
I mean those days that feel important to you.
The day you achieved something.
The moment you saw yourself differently.
The season when something shifted, quietly but deeply.

It’s a huge honour for me to be part of those stories.
